ABOUT US
Where Community Rise Together
Black-centered, peer-led spaces where skills are built, networks are grown, and confidence becomes a collective standard.
EmpowerHER Collective Inc. is a nonprofit organization built to close long-standing gaps in mental health support, career advancement, and financial security for the Black community, offering peer-led programming, wellness resources, and professional development for women, girls, and men.
Dr. Holly Davis founded EmpowerHER Collective Inc. as an extension of her doctoral research at Northeastern University on the systemic barriers facing underrepresented leaders. That research made clear that the Black community faces distinct and compounding gaps in mental health access, professional advancement, and financial security, and that closing them requires programming designed by and for the community it serves. EmpowerHER translates that research into action, centering Black women, girls, and men while remaining open to all who share the organization's commitment to equity.
We believe healing happens in community, that professional growth requires both skill and access, and that financial security is built through knowledge passed forward, not withheld.
