Elizabeth Jenkins, PhD, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the board. With a background in organizational development, Elizabeth has used her skills and expertise to support non-profit organizations in developing and implementing data-driven workforce strategies aligned with organizational goals. This work has ranged from program evaluation, strategic planning, and organizational assessments. 


Additionally, Elizabeth is passionate about empowering women and girls to live robust, independent lives. As a doctoral student, Elizabeth conducted research on how various forms of harassment and limiting beliefs can hinder women's professional advancement. As such, she is passionate about advancing gender equity and, consequently, EmpowerHER’s mission.


Elizabeth received her BS in psychology from Howard University and her MS and PhD in industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology. Currently, she works as a senior talent and organizational development consultant within the finance sector.


In the spirit of living a full life, Elizabeth makes time for joy through creative hobbies, such as improv or pottery, nature walks, and being a cat mom.
